  Please read on to see the email I sent to the management of this cabin. I have not yet received a reply --- To Peggy and whomever it may concern: I'm sorry to tell you that I am incredibly displeased with the condition of your Cozy Bear Cabin. Upon arrival, we found mouse poop on the kitchen counter, in 2 of the four beds, on a night stand, and in the couch. The pool table had beetles and dirt all over it, as did the window sill. Honestly, I'm not sure when it was that this cabin was last cleaned. To top it all off, we were greeted by a rude, passive aggressive note from Greg, whom I assume is the grounds keeper. You can find pictures of all these things attached to this email. The cabin itself is beautiful. The hottub was in great shape and ready for us to climb in, which I appreciate because that's always the first thing we want to do when we get to the cabin. Another plus was all the kitchen gadgets. We loved all the available appliances. If the cabin was actually clean when we arrived, I would probably not be writing this email. I hope you are able to address this issue for your future guests. • Review of "Hills O' Brown Vacation Rentals" at Nashville

  The "Middle of Nowhere" cabin was the perfect vacation for our party of 5 outdoorsy folks (plus dog). It had no Wi-Fi or other electronics, just the essentials. As it should be. It featured a cozy fireplace, a king-sized dinner table, and an abundance (!) of room to sit, sleep, and play. This was the kind of place you could take a den of Cub Scouts to. The surrounding winter scenery was magical. It also features a vast hiking trail network nearby. There's so much more I'm not mentioning. I can't speak for the other locations of Hills O' Brown, but if you want to spend a weekend with the cell phones off, this is the place... even if it is a little hard to find.

  My husband and I just got back from our second trip with hills o Brown.. We have made this our yearly get away. The cabins are beautiful yet affordable and its very peaceful and everyone is so friendly we look forward to our next trip with them. Thanks for making it amazing. Cathy and Ron Russell
